Governor DeSantis is calling this a 500-year storm, which brings to mind Nashville’s 500-year flood some years back. This is gonna require a substantial rebuild of homes, of bridges, of roadways.
In May 2010, Nashville was brought to its knees by a flood the likes of which it had never known. Lives were lost and homes were ruined, but Nashville rose above the tragedy. #nashvilleflood pic.twitter.com/ZeFRmyjroE

The media can’t help themselves – everything must be politicized. No opportunity to smear opponents is too low. This reporter misrepresented FEMA Director’s words@RonDeSantisFL won’t accept it.
